Yeah, it'll probably suck, but might as well post about it. All kinds of funny can happen here.

This R. Kelly thing is by far the strangest thing I have ever seen. He's just lip-synching an entire song. It's like some horrible one man play.

In addition to the LiLo potato sack, what the fuck was Jessica Simpson wearing?

I think Shakira gave the best performance so far. What was the deal with the Killers playing at some hotel?

Someone please arrest R. Kelly for that interpretive piece. Maybe Little Kim will take him with her to jail.

This award show is so fucking painful to watch. From the ridiculous clothes, to the bad music, to the egos and the ugly people in the mosh pit--Times like these make me wish the terrorists accepted suggestions.

This really is terrible. Someone should tell Fat Joe that the purpose of a microphone is to amplifly your voice so you don't have to yell.

Beavis freaking out was old-school fun.

I've been away for most of the night or watching FNC - I heard Hammer performed?

It seems that all the VMAs that have been in Miami have been horrible. Why DID they leave NYC?

For what it's worth though, Lil' Kim looked remiscent of a human being tonight, which has been VERY rare for her.

Nice outfit on Paulina Rubio, but hasn't the whole latin music craze been dead for five years?

I am betting on Fat Joe.

Gotta agree she was stunning although I didn't like the hair. Jessica Alba disappointed me, she looked ok but way would have preferred something slutty, while I am fucking loving Ashlee Simpson back as a blonde again, while Nicky Hilton needs to go back to brunette, she looked smoking as one.

When have you EVER seen Jessica Alba - outside the characters she plays on TV and Movies - dress slutty? Never.

Didn't say I have, doesn't mean I can't say I word prefer her to have been dressed sluttier.

Little Kim goes to jail on September 19th. I believe Fifty Cent and Yayo called Fat Joe a pussy because he made fun of Fifty Cent and G Unit earlier in the show.

Jessica Alba in an see through dress from the MTV movie awards in response to the "Does she dress slutty?" debate.

She doesn't need to - she's stunning in whatever she wears. I think the chicks who do dress slutty are attention whores out to prove how hot they are.

Did anyone else notice that about 75% of the performers & presenters were obscure 'bands' that no one's ever heard about? It's just another way for "Diddy" to shamelessly self promote his label... Which I suppose is smart, but got really annoying.
This was by far the worst video-music awards i've ever watched.

A few highlights I suppose... Kelly Clarkson-- surprising. The girl can sing that's for sure. My Chemical Romance always does an amazing job even if the sound guy sucked ass at making them sound as good as they really are. The constant cursing being blanked out was new... I thought the VMA's were live and the Movie Awards were pre-recorded? Cheap ass MTV screwing us out of some moments that would have been funnier without the delay button being hit.

It was painful to watch. I had to turn the channel on several occasions because it was so fucking awkward. If they wanted to turn the VMA's into "night at the appollo" they should have gotten Billy Dee Williams to host it. How about Diddy's cash giveaway??? Granted it was for charity but what the fuck??? Two guys with suitcases full of money as a music award?

The 2 awards at one time idea was stupid. It made for confusion in the audience.

Horrible. Celebs should die.

I'll second that. How in the FUCK did that bullshit even make it on TV?? R. Kelly sucks dick anyway, but this bullshit definitely takes the cake.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express the burning hatred that I have for seandiddydaddypuffaloopycombys, AKA "Diddy." What a fucking douchebag.

Best Reaction of the Night: John Legend, during Dane Cook's "detonating child" joke. My guess is that he's not a fan of dead baby jokes.

He was in two nominated videos. Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" and The Killers "Mr. Brightside".

What homo rock did Ricky Martin crawl out from under? I haven't heard a thing from him in 3 years, then he just shows up to present? What was that?

Also, what the fuck was up with that fashion award? Wasn't it named after Snoop dog or something, then HE wins it? I had no idea what was going on that entire night.

But, watching that comedian bomb was funnier than any joke he told. Wrong platform for a random comedy act.

Dane Cook is actually pretty funny. He won the most outrageous comedian contest on Comedy Central a year or two ago.

You are correct, he did not need to be there and his set was the worst material that I have ever heard from him.

Ricky Martin might have been there just because he is Latin and they were trying to incorporate a latin theme down in Miami. He also could have been left out.

Blame Diddy.

That was the most horrific excuse for an awards show I've even seen. WTF was with "Diddydumbfuck" giving away the watch? Then, what next break he said something about security not thinking he was serious and giving it back to the guy! I don't get it. I think I saw more commercials for "Making The Band, 1million" than anything else.

It was horrible. If he wants to do something like that the guy has enough money to do it on his own time and not that of the general public who was hoping for...oh, I don't know, an Awards Show perhaps.

So many annoying things, too many to list. I finally flipped the pile of shit off and watched the re-run of last weeks "Rescue Me".

Best Reaction of the Night: John Legend, during Dane Cook's "detonating child" joke. My guess is that he's not a fan of dead baby jokes.

I know it's been said, but Dane Cook had no place there whatsoever. Painfully uncomfortable doesn't even begin to describe the anguish in watching that performance. No one was laughing, Snoop clearly wanted no part in sharing the stage with that guy afterwards, and it caused me to change the channel (and not return) for the better part of the night.

No way. By far the best reaction was Paulina Rubio's when Lil Jon tried to put his arm around her. It was classic, she looked like she was going to throw up as she pryed his hand off her shoulder.

I feel sorry for Dane Cook, he's a hilarious comedian, but that DEFINITELY wasn't his platform. Either way, anything that offends John Legend is ok in my book.

Reason why Ricky Martin was there: Partially because of Miami and the latin vibe (see Paulina Rubio being there), but mainly because he's got a new album to promote.

The R. Kelly performance was by far the biggest train-wreck of the night. A 7 minute "one-man Performance" lip-synched with the last two minutes being a three-way argument between a man, his wife and his gay lover? Wow.

If I had to hear him yell "RUFUS!" one more time I would have gone nuts.
